Fujibo JOINER®
JOINER® is a low melt type polyamide (Nylon) filament with strong bonding strength, which developed by Fujibo Holdings, Inc.

JOINER® has been widely applied on the train seat covers throughout Japan. Due to the massive usage on Japanese train service; seat covers wear and tear very quickly. Having JOINER® applied onto its seat covers makes it much more durable.



Application

* Chenille Yarns

* Tapes for hemming (trousers, skirts etc.)

* Mop Yarn

* To prevent the fraying of fabrics and yarns

* Other spot adhesion applications


Characteristics

* By applying heat, the heat-adhesive nature of this fiber will guarantee a strong bond with other fibers

* Freely used with any other fiber, especially with natural fibers. Unlike other adhesive fibers, such as PP or PET which can only be used with a limited number of other fibers

* The bonding process is easily controlled by the use of different denier

* It is possible to select the most suitable bonding for any material by adjusting the processing method

* As an example H-Type (130℃) with its high melting point is used in Polyester to be piece-dyed without any loss in bonding strength

* Adhesion does not deteriorate with washing or dry-cleaning

* As X-Type (140℃) has high flexibility after adhesion, the finish texture is softer than other Type
